got busy just living
fear i dropped the ball
once my favorite holiday
the matriarchs were the glue
feels like just another day
text "Happy Thanksgiving and miss you"
is the new norm for all my loved ones
i'm trying, please know that
i send all my love, not just some
i'll sit here with my cats
grateful for all the food, yum
i'll eat til my eyes are too heavy to bat
awaken to dessert, what prize have i won?
i am thankful for all
all who has helped me along
stayed to get past my walls
it's on me why i feel i don't belong
